We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in communication and project management to join our team as a Co-design and Engagement Officer.
This is a unique opportunity to work with a large Federal Government Agency that is committed to developing procedures and pushing best practice in the Disability Sector.
Key Responsibilities- Educate and inform mainstream services to improve participant experience and increase social and economic participation.
- Maintain local relationships with key stakeholders to support effective engagement.
- Work as part of a high-performing team to engage with people with disabilities, their families, and carers using a nationally consistent approach.
- Represent the Agency at external forums and events, providing information and guidance to the wider community.
- Deliver engagement activities and projects, and manage the state/territory engagement inbox.
- Demonstrate experience in writing accessible documents and dealing with people in sensitive settings.
- Have a strong communication background and project management skills.

You will be given training, ongoing support via a mentor, and a highly competitive pay rate at $55.24p/h + Super per hour.
