ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanic at JJ's, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our extensive fleet at our depot. Reporting to the Workshop Manager, your duties will encompass all aspects of preventative maintenance and repair of heavy rigid vehicles, including brakes, steering, suspension, hydraulics, and fabrication. CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Trade qualifications as a Truck Mechanic - Heavy Commercial Vehicles
  • Light Vehicle Mechanics or 3rd/4th year Heavy Vehicle Apprentices are encouraged to apply
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to complete pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing
  • Possession of a HR and forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
  • Good mechanical aptitude
