Project Financial Manager

As a key member of our Finance team, you will provide strategic financial management support to ensure the successful execution of our Enterprise Partnering Agreement (EPA) and other initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide end-to-end financial planning and budgeting services, including developing program financial plans, establishing monthly financial reporting, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Develop comprehensive financial documentation in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) 15, ensuring accurate revenue recognition.
  • Analyze estimates to complete and prepare variance analysis reports on a monthly basis, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Maintain an up-to-date summary of all EPA tasking orders, providing a holistic view of the program's financial performance.
  • Manage customer financial reporting requirements and prepare escalation calculations as needed.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for 'fee at risk', ensuring timely intervention when necessary.
  • Generate invoices and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering strong partnerships.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as Commerce or Accounting.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project financial principles, including earned value management, project accounting, cost estimation processes, and profit-sharing mechanisms.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, and Agresso, with experience in data analysis and visualization.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage positively with internal and external stakeholders.
