Job Summary

The role of Graduate Accountant is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to develop their skills and knowledge in financial management, budgeting, and accounting.

This position will involve working closely with our team to process expiation notices, manage SAPOL's physical assets, and provide financial management services to support the delivery of SAPOL's mission.

  • Develop and implement financial plans and budgets to ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of SAPOL's financial transactions and activities.
  • Conduct financial investigations and projects to identify areas for improvement and optimize financial performance.

As a Graduate Accountant, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and contribute to the development of SAPOL's financial management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Budgeting: Develop and implement financial plans and budgets to ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Financial Management: Manage and maintain accurate records of SAPOL's financial transactions and activities.
  • Investigations and Projects: Conduct financial investigations and projects to identify areas for improvement and optimize financial performance.
Requirements
  • Appropriate degree in one of the following disciplines - Accountancy, Business, Economics or Commerce, majoring in accounting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary Information

ASO3 - $67,589 - $72,033 per annum.
