About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Geologist Resource Definition to join our team. As a key member of our geology team, you will be responsible for leading a team of seven geologists and mentoring them in their daily activities.

You will be involved in a diverse range of geological models, with a healthy resource definition and exploration budget. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the geology budget and ensuring that drill priorities align with site strategy.
  • Managing the integration of geological data from drilling activities and external sources into the site database.
  • Compiling and integrating geological data, studies, technical data, and consultant reports to develop robust geological interpretations and estimations.
  • Inputting into resource updates and Mineral Resource reporting requirements.
  • Overseeing the management of the Mungari tenements, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Making recommendations for future work and facilitating group project reviews and planning.
  • Fostering a business improvement culture within the geology team.
  • Assisting in selecting appropriate techniques and procedures for all initiatives and projects.
About You

We are looking for a tertiary-qualified and motivated Geologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Geology.
  • Minimum 6+ years' experience across exploration and production.
  • Minimum of 3+ years gold experience.
  • Experience working at a senior level mentoring other Geologists.
  • Understanding of economic ore deposits, geochemistry, and structural geology.
  • Knowledge of statutory acts and regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Advanced understanding of geological interpretation and current 3D modelling techniques, block modelling, and QAQC protocols.
  • Highly developed problem identification and solution conceptualisation.
  • Experience using Leapfrog and/or Datamine (desirable, but not essential).
  • Demonstrate behaviours aligned with the Evolution Mining values.
