About this Role
A rewarding opportunity for a passionate dementia professional to join our Dementia Centre team in various locations across Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide dementia-specific behaviour management recommendations over the phone and through case management.
- Offer advice to reduce the impact of behaviours on people living with dementia, their carers and staff.
- Work closely with colleagues and teams to provide information and data on calls and live chat statistics.
- Effectively manage customer complaints or challenging situations, notifying the Team Leader when necessary.
- Implement service improvement solutions across the team efficiently.
- Flexibility to work across various shifts throughout the week.
Requirements:
- Expertise in supporting people living with dementia.
- Experience in Australian residential aged care and community aged care.
- High level of negotiation, communication and relationship building skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills.
- Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Empathy and patience.
- Relevant qualifications in Allied Health, Nursing, Aged Care or Mental Health highly desirable.
