About this Role

A rewarding opportunity for a passionate dementia professional to join our Dementia Centre team in various locations across Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide dementia-specific behaviour management recommendations over the phone and through case management.
  • Offer advice to reduce the impact of behaviours on people living with dementia, their carers and staff.
  • Work closely with colleagues and teams to provide information and data on calls and live chat statistics.
  • Effectively manage customer complaints or challenging situations, notifying the Team Leader when necessary.
  • Implement service improvement solutions across the team efficiently.
  • Flexibility to work across various shifts throughout the week.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in supporting people living with dementia.
  • Experience in Australian residential aged care and community aged care.
  • High level of negotiation, communication and relationship building skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Empathy and patience.
  • Relevant qualifications in Allied Health, Nursing, Aged Care or Mental Health highly desirable.
