Finance Manager Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team at Dhursan Constructions. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing accounting and reporting services, ensuring a robust compliance framework, and effective governance to promote entrepreneurship while protecting our people, customers, and businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement budgetary and accounting strategies, policies, and plans in partnership with other managers.
  • Provide financial insights and analyze their effects on business performance and funding needs.
  • Review monthly reports and oversee the establishment, execution, and oversight of accounting systems.
  • Manage the preparation of financial statements, such as income statements, balance sheets, and future earnings forecasts, to assess the organization's financial health.
  • Evaluate capital finance proposals and the financial status of ongoing projects.
  • Understand inter company transactions and offer advice on investment options, funding sources, and the allocation of earnings.
  • Prepare long-term profit projections, budgets, and financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, auditing, or finance.
  • Two to three years of relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to influence decision-making and foster energy and commitment within the organization.
  • Capable of managing a dynamic and constantly changing environment with evolving demands.
  • Skilled at inspiring individuals and teams to achieve organizational goals, motivating them to excel and develop by providing feedback, coaching, training, and guidance for career growth.
  • Act as a strategic, tactical, and operational business partner with strong analytical abilities, translating business needs into financial outcomes and solutions.
