Storyteller & Content Strategist

This key role within our content and communications team aims to deliver value to our members through engaging stories that foster a sense of belonging and connection. The successful candidate will help bring our story to life, inspiring members to explore and engage with our program.

The role involves working closely with relevant product owners, digital content producers, and our Creative Studio to execute campaigns and deliver against our content strategy. Key responsibilities include:

  • Producing daily digital content to support key projects and campaigns
  • Developing travel and lifestyle stories and feature pieces
  • Writing and editing content for grammar, style, and flow
  • Implementing best practice online content production, including SEO, usability, and compliance
  • Conducting interviews and researching information to distinguish fact from opinion
  • Ensuring user-generated content is integrated into our digital platform
  • Image editing using Adobe Photoshop or similar software
  • Identifying content opportunities based on customer insights, seasonality, and news and events
  • Maintaining up-to-date skills in CMS technology and an innovation mindset when producing engaging content

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a communications-based discipline, such as journalism, creative writing, marketing, or business/commerce
  • Over 4 years of experience working in web content management systems (CMS) for cross-platform publishing, preferably with Sitecore experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a passion for storytelling
  • Exceptional time management skills to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in SEO, social media, and digital analytics (Google Analytics)
  • Experience with image design and content distribution planning across owned and earned channels
