Asset Protection Specialist Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Asset Protection Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for all stakeholders attending the site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Arming and disarming alarm systems
  • Assisting in the installation/removal of equipment relevant to channeling stakeholders in and out of the premises
  • Conducting regular foot patrols of the assets
  • Investigating and appropriately acting on all complaints received by stakeholders
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment
  • Maintaining the onsite key register
  • Maintaining and controlling relevant equipment e.g. keys, swipe cards
  • Monitoring the CCTV system
  • Monitoring, controlling and maintaining access control equipment
  • Overseeing and assisting customers with observations of site WH&S procedures
  • Performing inductions to ensure continued WH&S of site
  • Performing unlock and lock up of access points within the sites
  • Professional liaising with state police, emergency services and all stakeholders
  • Providing concierge duties
  • Providing customer service to all stakeholders
  • Reporting incidents and breaches of security immediately

Requirements:

  • Possess current first aid
  • Hold a valid New South Wales Class 1 AC Security License
  • Must have a current White Card
  • Be prepared to work AM/PM shift work rosters with varying hours of attendance including weekend work
  • Be physically fit, well-presented/groomed with a pleasant disposition
  • Have strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Able to work well and remain calm under pressure
  • Have effective communication skills both verbal and written communication
  • Demonstrate a strong customer focus and be able to live our values
  • Good understanding and experience in WHS and emergency response management procedures
  • Strong experience in conflict resolution
  • Good report writing skills
  • Be capable of learning new skills quickly
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Being flexible and adaptable
  • Ability to compile precise and professional reports
