Protect Store Assets Specialist

The Asset Protection Officer plays a critical role in maintaining store security, preventing financial loss due to theft and fraud, and supporting safety and environmental compliance.
Main Responsibilities:
- Identify incidents of theft and fraud and review CCTV footage and exception reports to minimize loss.
- Monitor the store's physical security and audit Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) systems.
- Foster a culture of shrink elimination within the store.
- Prepare accurate and detailed incident reports documenting apprehensions and recoveries; preserve evidence.
- Interact with law enforcement and testify in court as required.
- Report hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty.
- Maintain responsibilities in a manner that minimizes the risk of injury to colleagues, vendors, customers, and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Demonstrate integrity at all times and respond to asset protection and operational concerns of all colleagues.
- Focus on store-specific business objectives while supporting asset protection and operational responsibilities.
