Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our team on a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension. Based in the Perth CBD, this role provides consultancy, advisory and transactional services to the Corporation on a diverse range of people management matters.


The successful candidate will provide support to the Manager, Human Resources, to deliver people services, workforce planning and change projects. This includes coordinating recruitment, performance management and other people processes across the Corporation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment processes in accordance with Government policy and legislation.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate people strategies, policies, and practices.
  • Provide consultancy and advisory services on people management matters by interpreting awards, agreements, and relevant legislation.
  • Coordinate the annual performance development and management process, including providing training and guidance.
  • Manage and prepare employment contracts.
  • Lead Corporation-wide learning and development initiatives, including managing the learning management software.
  • Assist in the management of work health and safety requirements and the delivery of change management processes.


Requirements:
  • Progress towards or completion of a relevant tertiary qualification in human resource management or industrial relations.
  • Experience using Dayforce Pay, the Corporation's HR Information System.
  • Highly developed report writing, research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain trusting relationships with stakeholders.
  • Experience across a wide range of HR functions, including workforce planning and developing HR strategies, policies, and systems.
