About the role

We're looking for an experienced and proactive Human Resource Consultant to join the Public Transport Authority (PTA). If you thrive on improving how things are done, enjoy leading change, and believe in the power of strong relationships, this could be the role for you.

A key part of your role will be continuing on the work from our Respect in the Workplace program - helping foster a psychologically safe and inclusive environment. You'll also work closely with leaders to identify workplace risks, navigate complex HR challenges, and deliver initiatives that improve the employee experience.

• Brings solid HR generalist experience and understands how to apply it to drive improvement and change
• Has demonstrated proven ability to identify and respond strategically to psychosocial risks
• Has experience working in large or complex organisations
• Is confident building relationships and partnering with a wide range of stakeholders
• Communicates clearly and persuasively - whether in conversations, reports or presentations
• Can manage competing priorities while staying focused on what matters most
• Brings energy, initiative, and a strong sense of integrity to everything you do

There is currently one permanent full time opportunity available for immediate start. Applicants assessed as suitable through this process may be used to fill similar vacancies on a fixed term or permanent basis that may arise within the next 12 months.

To be eligible to work at the PTA you must be either an Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident or hold a valid work visa with permanent working rights in Australia.
