Lighting Technical Director Role Summary

A Lighting Technical Director possesses a thorough understanding of 3D Computer Graphics, with years of experience in shot finishing on high-end productions such as feature films, commercials, and TV shows. They have a good working knowledge of art, design, and film lighting, as well as a solid technical foundation in ray tracing or path tracing renderers. Experience with Look Development and shader setup is an advantage in this role.

The successful candidate will work closely with experienced lighting leads and supervisors to achieve the highest quality on our VFX projects, pushing industry standards.

Job Requirements:

  • Thorough understanding of 3D Computer Graphics
  • Years of experience in shot finishing on high-end productions
  • Good working knowledge of art, design, and film lighting
  • Solid technical foundation in ray tracing or path tracing renderers
