As a key member of our creative and development team, this role requires an individual with exceptional technical skills and artistic vision. We are looking for someone who can bridge the gap between art and engineering, bringing visual designs to life while optimizing performance and ensuring seamless integration of art assets in a real-time gaming environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Create and implement software systems, art assets, game engine assets, shaders, and real-time visual effects.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and artists to ensure that products meet look-and-feel and performance requirements.
- Identify and solve technical issues related to the art pipeline.
- Provide artists with technical feedback to ensure optimized asset creation.
- Document and promote best practices.
- Develop tools and scripts to optimize Unity workflow.
- Profile and debug game performance to identify areas for optimization.
- Optimize software and art.
- 1-3 years of experience in a game development studio.
- Familiarity with versioning software (e.g., Perforce).
- Experience creating motion graphics or animations (samples required).
- Experience working under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of 2D and 3D graphics (Photoshop/After Effects and Blender).
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of shaders and profiling and optimization techniques.
