Job Opportunity: Electronics Security Technician

You will play a vital role in servicing and maintaining integrated electronic security systems for high-profile clients across WA.

This exciting opportunity is ideal for individuals with experience in electronic security systems, looking to take on new challenges and work with innovative technology.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Attending to service breakdowns and rectifying faults efficiently.
  • Conducting routine maintenance on various electronic security systems.
  • Undertaking minor project and installation works.
  • Responding to after-hours service calls.
  • Ensuring proper inspection, tuning, and testing of security equipment to diagnose faults.
  • Providing user training and advising on system functionality.
  • Maintaining a strong customer service approach when dealing with clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in electronic security systems.
  • A WA Security Licence (Installer/Consultant).
  • An Open Registration Cabling Licence.
  • A WA Class C Drivers Licence.
  • EWP Licences (High Risk WP) and Working at Heights Certification.
  • A National Police Clearance.
  • Experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing CCTV, Access Control Systems, Intruder Detection, and Intercom Systems.
  • Strong field experience in troubleshooting and servicing security systems.
  • PREFERRED EXPERIENCE IN INTEGRATED ACCESS CONTROL AND IP CCTV SYSTEMS.
  • The ability to work independently and problem-solve effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • The willingness to learn new technologies.
