About Our Client:

Our client is a leader in the Australian Security Integrations market, delivering high-end security solutions for key assets throughout Perth and Western Australia. Our team is dedicated to providing innovative and reliable electronic security systems, ensuring the highest standards for our clients. We are currently seeking experienced Electronics Security Technicians/Specialists to join our Service Team.

About the Role:

As an Electronics Security Technician, you will play a vital role in servicing and maintaining integrated electronic security systems for high-profile clients across WA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend to service breakdowns and rectify faults efficiently.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on various electronic security systems.
  • Undertake minor project and installation works.
  • Respond to after-hours service calls (paid above industry standards).
  • Ensure proper inspection, tuning, and testing of security equipment to diagnose faults.
  • Provide user training and advise on system functionality.
  • Maintain a strong customer service approach when dealing with clients.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in electronic security systems.
  • WA Security Licence (Installer/Consultant).
  • Open Registration Cabling Licence.
  • WA Class C Drivers Licence.
  • EWP Licences (High Risk WP) and Working at Heights Certification.
  • National Police Clearance.
  • Experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing:
    • CCTV
    • Access Control Systems
    • Intruder Detection
    • Intercom Systems
  • Strong field experience in troubleshooting and servicing security systems.
  • Preferred experience in integrated Access Control and IP CCTV systems (formal certification not required for commencement).
  • Ability to work independently and problem-solve effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies (formal and on-the-job training provided by SEME Solutions).
