Automation Specialist

As an Automation Specialist, you'll work alongside our Automation supplier to ensure correct operation and consistency across multiple components of the Automated material handling system. Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the material flow, identifying issues early on, and reporting progress to the site test team
- Supporting the execution of our Automation Test Strategy
- Observation and record the PLC and Low Level Control functionality
- Identify and coordinate any requirement for upcoming tests or activities, including people and material handling equipment.
- Validate physical stock movements and flow, ensuring that our automation systems are functioning at their optimal level.
You'll bring:
- Previous exposure to Automated Material handling systems
- Background as a control room operator/ Flow analyst
- Experience with reviewing equipment specification documents
- Prior participation in the installation, commissioning or testing of a material handling system
- Experience with executing User Acceptance Testing
