Responsibilities:

  • Provide high quality nursing care to patients undergoing haematology/oncology treatment
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient care
  • Demonstrate person-centred, family-inclusive and culturally sensitive care
  • Organise and prioritise workload; maintain effective communication with the team and patients
  • Contribute to professional development and continuous learning
  • Work flexibly across a roaster including day, evening or night shifts on all days of the week

Qualifications:

  • Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority
  • Demonstrated nursing experience in a relevant setting (including recent graduates or equivalent experience)
  • Ability to provide person-centred, family-inclusive and culturally sensitive care
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to professional development and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
  • Flexibility to work across a roster including all shifts
