Project Estimate Coordinator

We're seeking a skilled Estimating Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role involves working closely with experienced professionals to prepare detailed estimates for various construction projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset and excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and timely estimates for construction projects
- Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to identify scope and material requirements
- Collaborate with senior team members to ensure estimates meet deadlines and budget targets
- Communicate effectively with vendors and subcontractors to gather pricing and availability information
- Compile and submit professional bid packages
- Attend pre-bid meetings and conduct site visits as needed
- Support the preparation of change orders and other project documentation
- Maintain accurate records of all estimates and related correspondence
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in estimating or a related discipline
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software
- Solid understanding of construction materials and methods
