Job Title: First Nations Workforce Transformation Specialist
About the Role:
The successful candidate will lead cultural change initiatives, working with passionate leaders and specialists to shape programs that remove barriers, build pathways, and celebrate First Nations strengths.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver strategic plans for cultural capability growth, retention, and cultural safety.
- Design and implement impactful cultural learning opportunities for leaders, managers, and frontline staff.
- Establish metrics and benchmarks to assess and monitor cultural capability across all employee groups.
- Strengthen peer-led cultural learning opportunities and leadership development programs.
- Review employment policies, systems, and practices to ensure cultural safety, empowerment, and self-determination.
Requirements:
- Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander identity with cultural knowledge, lived experience, and relationship-building skills.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Education & Training, or equivalent experience.
- Experience working in complex organisations and influencing across teams without direct authority.
- Group facilitation, training delivery, and capability building skills.
- A strong track record in workforce development, cultural safety initiatives, and retention strategies.
