First Nations Workforce Transformation Specialist
About the Role:
The successful candidate will lead cultural change initiatives, working with passionate leaders and specialists to shape programs that remove barriers, build pathways, and celebrate First Nations strengths.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver strategic plans for cultural capability growth, retention, and cultural safety.
Design and implement impactful cultural learning opportunities for leaders, managers, and frontline staff.
Establish metrics and benchmarks to assess and monitor cultural capability across all employee groups.
Strengthen peer-led cultural learning opportunities and leadership development programs.
Review employment policies, systems, and practices to ensure cultural safety, empowerment, and self-determination.
Requirements:
Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander identity with cultural knowledge, lived experience, and relationship-building skills.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Education & Training, or equivalent experience.
Experience working in complex organisations and influencing across teams without direct authority.
Group facilitation, training delivery, and capability building skills.
A strong track record in workforce development, cultural safety initiatives, and retention strategies.
