Job DescriptionThe successful Payroll Officer will be responsible for:
- Collecting, compiling, and entering a high volume of payroll data;
- Managing end-to-end payroll processes, including payment of statutory costs;
- Calculating and posting payroll deductions;
- Preparing and sending timesheets;
- Reconciling employee deductions;
- Investigating and correcting payroll discrepancies and errors;
- Processing new employees, terminations, transfers, and promotions;
- Addressing employee pay-related concerns and providing accurate payroll information;
- Developing, managing, and maintaining comprehensive payroll records;
- Performing payroll-related general ledger reconciliations and journals.
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
- At least 4 years' experience as a Payroll Officer (end-to-end);
- Experience with large ERP systems;
- Strong Excel skills;
- An understanding of awards;
- A willingness to adapt to change and take on new challenges.
