About Our Role
We are seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis in our West Perth office. As part of our broader finance team and working within a payroll team of 4, this role will be responsible for administering our fortnightly payroll for both our staff and workforce personnel.
Our Responsibilities
This role will involve:
- Processing of fortnightly payroll accurately and on time;
- Reconciliation of PAYG, superannuation and other general payroll-related tasks;
- Assisting with the timely reconciliation and verification of large volumes of timesheets for our site-based employees;
- Accurately maintaining payroll data and records within our current and future payroll systems;
- Providing timely support and responses for our employees when questions or queries are raised regarding pay;
- Maintaining a high attention to detail and understanding of the different parameters surrounding billable hours for our various clients;
About You
- Previous experience in a related payroll position with a broad understanding of various legislation (taxation and superannuation);
- Able to prioritize tasks and demonstrate good time management skills, particularly relating to strict deadlines;
- Very strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy;
- An open-minded approach to people, with the ability to work with various stakeholders;

In this role, you can expect an estimated annual salary of AU$65,000 - AU$80,000, depending on your qualifications and experience. This includes a competitive base salary and additional benefits, such as comprehensive training and professional development opportunities.
