Strategic Property Acquisition Specialist

This senior role will collaborate closely with the Team Leader to provide strategic advice on property acquisition and transfer, ensuring alignment with corporate requirements.
Main Responsibilities- Develop contract structures that protect corporate interests, minimize liability, and manage transactions through settlement for property acquisition and transfer.
- Consider all factors in the acquisition process, including environmental and indigenous issues such as contaminated sites, flora, fauna, wetlands, Native Title, and Heritage matters.
- Manage transactions regarding the registration, surrender, or withdrawal of encumbrances: Easements, Caveats & Restrictive Covenants.
- Coordinate and manage dealings with government agencies in the acquisition and transfer of property interests from Crown Land.
- Lead negotiations directly with landowners to acquire property for assigned capital projects according to corporate requirements.
- Ensure negotiation and settlement of claims for compensation.
