Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Property Acquisition Specialist to join our National Development Group. As an integral part of our team, you will play a key role in driving the expansion of our business by identifying, evaluating, and acquiring freehold and leasehold properties.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Utilizing your extensive experience in retail/commercial property acquisitions to identify new sites for development in Western Australia (freehold or leasehold)
  • Evaluating the feasibility, suitability, and potential of each site to ensure alignment with our business objectives
  • Presenting analysis and recommendations to the Senior Leadership Team to inform strategic decision-making
  • Operating as a subject matter expert to provide guidance and support to stakeholders on the strengths and risks associated with each potential site
  • Managing the end-to-end property acquisition process, including working with internal teams and external consultants to negotiate deals, obtain necessary approvals, and finalize legal documentation
  • Fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Franchisees, corporate departments, and external partners to ensure effective collaboration and communication

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in Real Estate Development or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience as a property/real estate Development Manager (acquisitions focused) in a retail/commercial environment
  • Knowledgeable in property acquisitions, with a developed skill in structuring and negotiating deals
  • Strong understanding of the property market and ability to analyze complex data to inform decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build strong relationships
