Property Acquisition Specialist

- Collaborate with the Property Acquisitions Team to develop and implement effective strategies for acquiring and transferring property interests in accordance with organizational requirements.
- Utilize expertise to protect and maintain corporate infrastructure, providing strategic input throughout the land acquisition process.
- Develop and structure contracts that safeguard corporate interests, limit liability, and facilitate transactions through to settlement for the acquisition and transfer of property.
- Ensure comprehensive consideration is given to environmental and indigenous factors during the acquisition process, including contaminated sites, flora, fauna, wetlands, Native Title, and Heritage matters.
- Administer transactions related to the registration, surrender, or withdrawal of encumbrances: Easements, Caveats & Restrictive Covenants.
- Coordinate and manage interactions with government agencies in the acquisition and transfer of property interests from Crown Land.
- Lead negotiations directly with landowners to acquire property for assigned capital projects in accordance with organizational requirements.
- Responsible for ensuring negotiation and settlement of claims for compensation.
