Job Title: Supply Chain Coordinator

The Supply Chain Coordinator plays a vital role in the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan production scheduling, manufacturing, and ordering of consumables, ingredients, and packaging materials.
  • Ensure all orders are produced in full and necessary personnel are informed of any shortages or add-ons.
  • Regularly report on processing performance to the Operations Manager and plan corrective action.
  • Maintain food standards in line with applicable legislation and drive business strategy and goals.
  • Develop and verify Quality and Food Safety Systems to comply with legislative requirements and customer certification.
  • Schedule production in line with machinery availability, allergen compatibility, and ingredient/packaging availability.

Critical Skills and Experience:

  • Forecasting and analytical skills with decisive decision-making ability.
  • Knowledge of food processing industry, especially food safety/HACCP principles.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to make quick and correct decisions 'on the job'.
  • Achieve production targets, well-developed problem-solving skills, and knowledge of quality systems/HACCP procedures.
