Job Title: Positive Behaviour Practitioner

Our team is looking for a skilled and compassionate individual to fill the role of Positive Behaviour Practitioner. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing support to individuals with complex needs. Your expertise in behaviour analysis and positive reinforcement techniques will enable you to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients.

About the Role:
  • Conduct comprehensive Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs) to identify underlying causes of challenging behaviours;
  • Design and implement person-centred Behaviour Support Plans that promote positive change;
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, families, and stakeholders;
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide a cohesive and effective service;
  • Collect and analyse data regularly to monitor progress and inform ongoing support strategies.
Requirements:
  • Endorsement as 'Core' or above against the PBS Capability Framework;
  • Relevant bachelor's degree (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Counselling, Social, Disability, Teaching or Social Sciences);
  • Full Australian working rights;
  • Prior experience in community, private or acute settings;
  • Access to your own vehicle and current driver's licence;
  • NDIS Workers Check and Working with Children Check.
