Job Title: Senior Program Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced project professional to lead the delivery of large-scale research initiatives focused on improving Indigenous health and wellbeing outcomes. As a key member of our team, you will engage with diverse stakeholders, from community organisations to international researchers, while contributing to policy development and reform.

Your expertise in program management will support innovative research in areas such as Indigenous data, family violence, and cultural heritage. Your responsibilities include managing multiple large-scale research projects, coordinating with stakeholders, ensuring timely completion of milestones, building and maintaining relationships with diverse partners, and managing resources.

  • Program Leadership: Manage multiple large-scale research projects, coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring timely completion of milestones.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with diverse partners, including Aboriginal Community-Controlled Organisations and international collaborators.
  • Research Support: Manage resources, and contribute to the development of reports and presentations for various audiences.
  • Risk Management: Identify project risks, implement mitigation strategies, and maintain comprehensive project tracking registers.

You may be a great fit if you have experience in program management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate complex research initiatives and engage effectively with diverse stakeholders. You should also possess advanced knowledge of research infrastructure development and operation, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong relationship management and negotiation skills.
