Role Overview
">- This is a Senior Research Officer position that plays a vital role in advancing heart health initiatives for Australians.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the funding application review process, managing grant review committees, and collaborating with the research team to coordinate annual research grants funding calendars.
Key Responsibilities:
Job Description- Coordinate the funding application review process annually within agreed parameters.
- Manage Grant Review Committees and provide secretariat support (e.g., minutes, agendas).
- Work collaboratively with the broader research team to co-ordinate and implement an annual research grants funding calendar.
- Maintain accurate records, draft reports, and ensure that funding guidelines and associated materials are kept up-to-date.
- Provide induction for new researchers to build engagement with and understanding of the research program.
- Develop and continuously improve operating processes and procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with other members of the research team, broader Health Research & Innovation teams, and internal Heart Foundation teams.
