About This Role

Arup seeks an experienced professional to manage its Western Australian rail team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering solutions and growing the team's local design capabilities.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead day-to-day operations of the WA rail team, ensuring seamless project delivery.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team skills and training.
  • Contribute to winning bids and proposals for rail projects through effective collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong relationships with Arup's rail clients, fostering trust and loyalty.
Requirements:
  • Recognised tertiary qualifications in a relevant design or engineering discipline.
  • Proven experience in rail industry design management, track design, or OLE design.
  • Chartered membership or significant credit towards eligibility in relevant professional institutions.
  • Strong skills in client and stakeholder relationship management, project management, and contract management.
  • Working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines, including OH&S procedures.
