Critical Care Specialist

The Royal Flying Doctor Service offers a unique chance to work in emergency retrieval, providing critical care to patients in rural and remote areas.
About the Role:This position involves participating in a rotating training program with placements in various locations, including Dubbo and Broken Hill. You will be responsible for providing telehealth services, working at local rural hospitals, and developing your skills in critical care.
Key Requirements:- Minimum 5 years of post-graduate experience
- Advanced trainee level from one of the following colleges: CICM, ACEM, ANZCA, ACRRM (with JCCA/DRGA)
- Completed a minimum total of 18 months critical care time (ED and ICU) and 6 months anaesthetics
- Experience in managing critically ill patients, including trauma cases
- Ideal candidates have completed ALS, APLS, ATLS (or equivalent)
- Recency of practice in a critical care environment is essential
