Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical therapy evaluations according to professional and departmental guidelines, taking into account the patient's diagnosis, abilities, and limitations.
- Review patient records, gather necessary information, and obtain a physician's order prior to assessing the patient, ensuring a seamless transition of care.
- Select evaluation procedures that reflect your understanding of the patient's condition, adapting them as needed to accommodate specific patient needs.
- Administer evaluation procedures according to standardized tests, making adjustments as indicated to ensure accurate results.
- Interpret evaluation results, develop an integrated diagnostic impression, and provide recommendations for treatment, always keeping the patient's best interests in mind.
- Perform re-evaluations as required by departmental policies, changes in the patient's status or response to treatment, demonstrating your commitment to ongoing assessment and improvement.
- Effectively communicate evaluation findings and management of care recommendations to patients and caregivers, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.

Requirements
- A Bachelor's/Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required, reflecting our commitment to hiring only the most qualified candidates.
- A current Commonwealth of Massachusetts license is mandatory, ensuring our patients receive care from licensed professionals.
- APTA and MCAPTA membership is preferred, indicating a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
