Job Opportunity

The Salvation Army is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead the Case Management team in Alice Springs. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support the Case Management team.
  • Be actively involved in intake, assessment, and case management.
  • Develop productive relationships within the team to support quality performance and wellbeing.
  • Implement professional development plans to improve capability and service delivery.
  • Ensure staff understand their roles and expectations.
  • Undertake assessments with clients to develop a shared understanding of their situation and related problems and strengths.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
  • Hold a degree level qualification in social services, community development, or a related discipline, or extensive demonstrated experience in a similar role.
  • Have experience engaging homeless persons and supporting those experiencing homelessness, alcohol and other drug dependence, and mental health issues.
  • Possess good time management and organisational skills.
  • Have experience managing staff.
  • Hold a current First Aid certificate or be willing to obtain one.
  • Hold a current NT driver's license.
