Job Overview

Troocoo is partnering with a leading Tier 1 mining organisation to fill a Contract Specialist role. This opportunity involves working on high-value projects across the business, delivering end-to-end procurement and contract management services.

  • Maintaining a high standard of procurement and contract management across capital contracts.
  • Leading commercial negotiations and ensuring supplier partnerships deliver long-term value.
  • Development and implementation of sourcing strategies for projects.
  • Liaising with senior project stakeholders to deliver strategic procurement outcomes.
  • Anticipating and mitigating supply chain risks across project lifecycles.
  • Driving supplier performance and contract compliance.
Key ResponsibilitiesCommercial Expertise

The successful candidate will have proven experience in end-to-end contract management, including tendering, evaluation, and negotiation within large capital projects. Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills are essential, as well as the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.

Collaboration and Communication

Excellent communication and influencing skills are required, along with a collaborative approach to working across multidisciplinary teams. The ability to identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies is also crucial.
