Messaging Systems Specialist

The role of Enterprise Messaging Infrastructure Professional involves supporting, maintaining and optimizing messaging infrastructure as part of a national program for legacy systems. This position requires expertise in administering messaging software, understanding messaging patterns, scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, and Python, and security protocols.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure and maintain messaging software across distributed environments.
- Implement and manage security features including authentication and encryption.
- Troubleshoot connectivity, message flow and performance issues.
- Develop and maintain scripts for routine administrative tasks automation.
- Support disaster recovery and high-availability configurations.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with messaging software administration.
- Deep understanding of messaging patterns and protocols.
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Shell, Perl, Python).
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance.
- Australian Citizenship with Baseline security clearance.
