About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to drive business growth and engagement across Australia. As the General Manager of Communications and Grower Engagement, you will develop and lead a proactive engagement strategy with growers, industry stakeholders, government, and the media.

You will be responsible for delivering exceptional member experiences through communications, regional activities, events, projects, and member services. You will work closely with the senior leadership team to influence innovative outcomes supporting growers nationally.

  • Lead member engagement and membership services to ensure an outstanding experience for all members
  • Manage a diverse team located in Sydney and regional Australia, overseeing the delivery of grower activities
  • Develop and manage communications and public affairs activities, leveraging your professional network
  • Ensure consistency of strategic positioning, message, and tone aligns with the brand's vision
  • Enhance engagement and reputation with stakeholders, including members, growers, grains industry organisations, and government
  • Track and manage grower engagement activities to ensure alignment with their needs and wants
