The Organization

National advocacy group represents the interests of farmers in New South Wales. The organization's primary purpose is to engage with members, provide value, and act on behalf of its constituents to drive meaningful outcomes that benefit them directly.

Negotiating with external organizations, including government agencies, is an integral part of this role. By working closely with leadership team members, elected representatives, and external partners, you will contribute to achieving growth and member engagement goals.

The Position

This critical position entails:

  • Achieving targeted growth aligned with strategic plans.
  • Designing and implementing insight-driven strategies to engage membership, grow members, and establish valuable partnerships.
  • Utilizing modern member engagement management systems and campaign delivery platforms to underpin growth strategies.
  • Analysing potential new and targeted membership opportunities across NSW.
  • Establishing and implementing regional partnership activities.
  • Guiding and directing member retention strategies.
  • Increasing the profile of the organization through active industry engagement.

The Individual

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to multitask and manage competing deadlines.
  • Direct experience building strategic engagement and partner solutions.
  • A hunger for new business acquisition while maintaining long-term relationships.
  • Strong sales background, ideally within agriculture, dealing with farming communities and government.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (Commerce, Business, Agribusiness, Economics, Marketing, Sales Management).
