We are seeking a skilled Preservation Specialist to join our team.

About the Role
  1. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a Monday-Thursday roster at one of South Australia's largest long-term mining operations.
  2. The Preservation Specialist will be responsible for delivering high-quality preservation works, adhering to the highest safety standards.
  3. A key aspect of this role is maintaining a strong commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility, and sustainable development.
  4. The successful candidate will also ensure that warehouse spares are preserved and stored to a high standard.
  5. Additionally, they will execute planned work orders for critical and non-critical spares.
  6. In collaboration with the team, the Preservation Specialist will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Experience
  1. An unwavering commitment to safety is essential for this role.
  2. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of SAP Warehousing and/or Plant Maintenance.
  3. Previous experience in maintenance or supply chain roles is highly desirable.
  4. An electrical or mechanical trade qualification is advantageous.
  5. The successful candidate will also possess strong customer and stakeholder focus, with a good understanding of warehouse systems and preservation.
