Lead Landscaper Position

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to assume the role of Lead Landscaper within our residential landscape construction team.

  • This position will involve leading a dynamic team of landscapers and apprentices, with a focus on ensuring site safety, quality control, and productivity.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for mentoring and training staff, as well as liaising with clients, designers, and subcontractors.

About the Role:

  • Provide strategic leadership to ensure effective project execution
  • Mentor and develop team members to achieve business objectives
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Landscape Construction or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum three years' experience in residential projects, preferably in a supervisory capacity
  • Sound knowledge of hard and soft construction techniques
  • Construction induction card ('white card')
  • Experience with earthmoving equipment (excavator/bobcat)
  • Current driver's license
  • Strong planning, organisation, and time management skills
  • Ability to problem-solve and lead by example
