We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our Network Property team at TPG Telecom. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and has expertise in financial operations.

As a Financial Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the network property team with financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. You will be responsible for managing reporting for Network Property including Leases and associated costs, as well as providing finance business support to the Network Property team.

This is a key position that requires strong commercial acumen, attention to detail, and excellent analytical skills. The successful candidate will have experience in IFRS 16 accounting, advanced Excel knowledge, and working knowledge of financial systems such as Jedox and Oracle e-business.

In this role, you will work closely with senior leadership to provide insightful outputs that drive business decision-making. You will also collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless execution of financial operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for month-end activities that support the accurate reporting & analysis of the business performance and underlying operational expenditure.
  • Focus on managing reporting for Network Property including Leases and associated costs.
  • Governance of the purchase order process to ensure that accruals are up to date and tracked to ensure that spend is within budget estimates.
  • Support governance of lease management process & platforms.
  • Support the development of the annual budget, Rolling Forecast and Long-range plan for Network Property Leases and Electricity Costs.
  • Proactive analysis of operational KPIs and drivers to track business performance with a view to identifying improvement opportunities and issues that require action.
  • Provide insights and support initiatives on optimizing electricity costs including Electricity Hedging.
  • Assist with the preparation of business cases for initiatives that require capital and operational resources & ad-hoc business analysis as required.
Requirements:
  • Able to deliver high-quality and accurate insightful outputs linking to an understanding of how the business could action those outputs.
  • Good stakeholder management at senior leadership level.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively present ideas and influence decision making.
  • Strong Commercial acumen demonstrating innovation and creativity.
  • Experience in IFRS 16 accounting.
  • Advanced Excel knowledge, including advanced financial modelling skills.
  • Working knowledge of financial systems such as Jedox and Oracle e-business.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and conflicting priorities.

Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per annum
