This role involves delivering high-quality, evidence-based mental health care to patients in a custodial setting. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing and managing mental health issues, discharge planning, and transfer of care.
Key Responsibilities- Apply Trauma Informed Care principles and align with the National Practice Standards for Mental Health Workforce and NSW Health Competencies.
- Deliver clinical leadership in treatment planning and review systems.
- Provide safe and effective care to patients in a custodial setting.
- You must have current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- You need three years' full-time experience in mental health and post-graduate qualifications in mental health, or an equivalent combination of experience and qualifications.
