Lead Rural Physiotherapist

The role of Lead Rural Physiotherapist presents an exceptional opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health and wellbeing of rural communities. About the Role

This is a pivotal leadership position that requires a skilled and experienced physiotherapist to lead a team of allied health professionals in providing excellent patient care. The ideal candidate will have advanced clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for rural healthcare.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Patient Care: Provide expert clinical services to patients, including assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
  2. Mentorship: Mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and confidence.
  3. Servicedelivery: Contribute to the development of innovative service delivery models that meet the evolving needs of rural communities.
Requirements
  • Must hold a recognised qualification within the relevant Allied Health Profession and be eligible for (full) membership of the relevant Allied Health Profession.
  • Provide expert clinical or consultancy services across the region.
  • Work with autonomy using advanced skills and reflective practice.
  • Support service development and redesign to meet evolving needs.
