Job Opportunity

This role is responsible for delivering a program that supports the development of employability skills and promotes employment outcomes. The coordinator will work with participants to address barriers and provide optimal support, resulting in increased education levels, better access to services, and socioeconomic gain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, support, and engage program participants
  • Mentor and support participants in the development of employability skills
  • Liaise with government departments and agencies, community organisations, and service providers
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Qualifications in Training and Assessment, Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability Work, and/or Community Services
  • Previous experience in delivering government-funded programs such as Skilling Queenslanders for Work or similar
  • Cultural understanding of CALD people and their barriers and support requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to understand labour market trends and needs and barriers facing individuals seeking employment
