Job Opportunity for Disability Care Worker

We are currently seeking a disability care worker in the Riverstone and surrounding areas to work with our clients with spinal cord injury. This is a great opportunity to use your skills in a flexible environment, with a supportive management team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing personal care services to people with spinal cord injury
  • Assisting with daily living activities
  • Communicating effectively with clients and their families

Requirements:

  • Understanding of the needs and requirements of a person with spinal cord injury
  • Previous experience providing personal care services or willingness to learn
  • Confident 'people-person' personality
  • Current Criminal Record Clearance or NDIS Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current drivers licence and own reliable vehicle
  • Fully vaccinated against Covid 19
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Hourly rate starting at $30.33 per hour, with above award shift penalties paid for all evening, night or weekend work
