Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Spinal Cord Injury Unit at Royal North Shore Hospital.
- The successful applicant will provide comprehensive assessment and treatment of psychological issues impacting on adjustment to acute SCI and engagement in the rehabilitation process.
- Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, you will deliver high-quality patient care through evidence-based psychological assessment, psychometric assessment when indicated, and psychological treatment through individual, family parenting, and group treatment programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with spinal cord injuries
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices
Qualifications and Skills:
- Full registration as a Psychologist with a Master's degree or higher in Clinical Psychology from the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Postgraduate experience in clinical psychology with a focus on spinal cord injury
