We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Mediation Specialist to join our team at Uniting's Counselling and Mediation Family Relationship Centre in Campbelltown.
As a Family Mediation Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting families through challenging times, helping them navigate post-separation conflicts and reach agreements on parenting arrangements and property distribution.
You will work collaboratively with a passionate team of therapists and FDRPs to provide mediation, therapeutically assisted mediation, legally assisted mediation, and child-inclusive practice to families in need.
Key Responsibilities- Accredited or Eligible: You are accredited by the Australian Attorney-General's Department as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, or eligible to apply.
- Graduate Diploma in Family Dispute Resolution: You must have this qualification to proceed with the recruitment process.
- Knowledgeable and Skilled: You have a strong understanding of child-inclusive mediation, family law legislation, and community services.
- Passionate and Compassionate: You have excellent communication, organisation, and writing skills, enabling you to connect with clients and colleagues alike.
- Tech-Savvy: You are comfortable with computers and can handle the administrative side of the role with ease.
- Starting base annual salary of $54,632 plus super.
- A commencement bonus of $500 - eligible at 3 months.
