About the Role:

This is a full-time, maximum term role from November 18, 2024, to March 30, 2026. You will work in a hybrid environment, with flexible working hours and opportunities for professional development. Our team is passionate about creating a culture that promotes diversity, cultural competence, and shared values.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide evidence-based services to families, utilizing the Functional Family Therapy - Child Welfare (FFT-CW) model.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to strengthen families and prevent children from entering out-of-home care.
  • Develop and implement problem-solving strategies, support families in identifying community-based resources, and review outcomes.
  • Participate in comprehensive training and ongoing support to ensure expertise in the FFT-CW model.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Counselling, Social Work, Family Therapy, Psychology, or Community Services/Mental Health.
  • Previous experience in a therapeutic environment.
  • Knowledge and experience working within the out-of-home care sector are highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships and rapport with families and young people.
