Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As a casual staff member, you will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for our little learners.

Daily Responsibilities:
  • Engage in interactive play and educational activities with children, promoting their cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care, maintaining a secure and hazard-free environment.
  • Collaborate with the team to plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum, catering to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, promoting a sense of community and respect among children and staff.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, fostering open relationships and keeping them informed about their child's progress.
  • Assist in daily routines, including meal times, naps, and personal care, ensuring the physical and emotional needs of children are met.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Certificate 3 or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood.
  • A current Working with Children Check, ensuring you meet the necessary standards for working with vulnerable populations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build effective relationships with colleagues, parents, and children.
  • A genuine love for working with children, demonstrated through your enthusiasm and dedication to providing high-quality care and education.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals and outcomes.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to a casual work schedule, enabling you to balance your work-life commitments and meet the demands of the role.
