About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Australian operations in the renewable energy sector. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for establishing and optimizing operational processes, focusing on procurement, compliance, and certifications. This role offers a unique opportunity to scale up operations and contribute to our mission of zero-carbon renewable energy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the operations function in Australia, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement processes related to procurement, compliance, and certifications, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  • Oversee commercial and project-based deliverables, working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Drive operational excellence by identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
  • Foster a diverse and inclusive work environment, promoting high standards of quality among team members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; MBA with a focus on Tech/Ops management preferred.
  • Proven experience in operations management, particularly within the renewable energy sector or related industries.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage people and lead teams remotely.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different levels of the organisation.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management and process improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and adapt to changing priorities.
